ZitatAlles anzeigenThe FreeStyle Libre 2 alarms will present to let the user know that their glucose has crossed the set level for a low or high glucose alarm, but the system will not provide a glucose reading. To confirm your glucose level, you will need to scan the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor.
The indications for use of the FreeStyle Libre 2 system considers a transmission range of 6 metres (20 ft) unobstructed.
FreeStyle Libre 2 is FreeStyle Libre with optional glucose alarms. Like FreeStyle Libre, to get a glucose reading you need to scan the sensor with the reader.
Our aim is to make the FreeStyle LibreLink app compatible with the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor. Timing is based on in-country regulatory approvals. The price of the FreeStyle Libre 2 system with additional features will be the same as the original FreeStyle Libre system. We secured CE Mark for FreeStyle Libre 2 very recently. FreeStyle Libre 2 has CE Mark and is approved only for Europe. Both FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 will be available in Europe.
The FreeStyle Libre 2 will be coming to Germany in the coming weeks. For more information on availability and price, please contact our Diabetes Care team here: 0800 5199519
Frage: ... same size?
no, there are no noticeable physical changes to the Sensor.
(CE)
"Both FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 will be available in Europe.
